Cypress Patio

We added a gabled patio cover to the back of this Cypress home, framing the new roof directly into the existing structure so the shingle lines read as original construction. Inside the gable, a tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and decorative truss give the space real architectural character, carried on painted columns with brick bases that match the house. The concrete patio below extends the family's usable living space through Gulf Coast sun and rain.
